Overview

The 35th annual SRC Users' Meeting will be held Friday, October 25, 2002 at the Physical Sciences Laboratory (see travel and lodging for directions). The program includes oral sessions, the users' business meeting, a poster session, a Friday night banquet, the Aladdin Lamp Award presentation, and an award for best poster.  The oral session will be held in the large conference room of the PSL located next to the SRC. Breaks, consisting of snacks and beverages, will be held in the adjoining PSL library.

All users are strongly encouraged to present a poster and to submit a one-page abstract about their recent work at the SRC (see the author guidelines).

The deadline for abstract submission is August 15th.  Preferred submission is by e-mail or hard copy to Pam Layton.  Registration is available online or can be sent by fax or mail (see the contact information). Payment by check can be made when you arrive. (Credit cards are not accepted).

This users' meeting is a great opportunity to meet other users and to learn more about the current research conducted at the SRC.  Please feel free to contact us for any suggestions or questions regarding this meeting.

The users' meeting will be followed by a workshop on Saturday the 26th with the theme: The electron-phonon interaction (as seen by ARPES). There will be several invited speakers.

We look forward to seeing you in October!
