SRC Summer 2007 Undergraduate Research Program-- Applications Now Being Accepted
The SRC-REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) program is now accepting applications from interested students. This summer program, supported by the National Science Foundation, welcomes undergraduate science students from around the country to SRC for a 10-week summer research experience that focuses on conducting original research under the guidance of a mentor.
In it's fifth year, the SRC-REU program has hosted 19 students who have conducted research projects on topics including nanotechnology, biophysics, semiconductors, and more. In the past, student participants have been co-authors on journal articles that have resulted, in part, from their summer research.
