The Synchrotron Radiation Center is a user-facility funded by the National Science Foundation and the University of Wisconsin-Madison to provide access to high intensity VUV and soft X-ray radiation in the spectral range from 7 eV to 3 keV. Beamtime for experiments at SRC is awarded to proposals which are reviewed for scientific merit and feasibility by an independent review panel.

Proposals for the next scheduling cycle (August, 1995-July 1996) are due January 27, 1995. Proposals from new investigators are particularly encouraged.
