  • IRENI in the News. Upcoming Presentations at UW Madison.

SRC's infrared microscope—IRENI—is receiving a lot of attention currently for its world-class and never before possible infrared images. An article in UW Madison's newspaper, Wisconsin Week, appeared this week as well as a separate article in the current issue of Chemical & Engineering News.

Carol Hirschmugl, IRENI director, will present IRENI at two upcoming talks at UW Madison. "Synchrotron Based Infrared Imaging — Emerging Biospectroscopy with Potential Applications in Stem Cell Differentiation", noon, Tuesday, Feb. 1, the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery (WID). "High Spatial Resolution Chemical Imaging: Biomedical Applications for Pathology and In vivo Imaging", noon, Monday, Feb. 7, in the Tong Auditorium, Room 1003, Engineering Centers Building.
