User Advisory Committee and Users' Meetings

The SRC Users are officially represented by the Users' Advisory Committee (UAC) (PDF file listing the current UAC). This panel, formerly known as the Users' Executive Committee, was established in 1969. Its members are selected by the Users in a mail ballot. The Users' Advisory Committee advises the Director of SRC on the needs and wishes of the Users with regard to the operation and development of SRC.  For more information, contact Dr. Tomasz Durakiewicz at (505) 667-4819 or email him at tomasz@lanl.gov.

Every October, SRC hosts a two-day Users' Meeting. This meeting is open to anyone and has the purpose of encouraging communication between SRC Users, others interested in the use of synchrotron radiation, and the SRC staff. During the meeting, reports are presented by SRC Users and staff.
